Better Together (in lots of things)

Over the last couple of years we’ve used the Better Together phrase quite a bit.  Very often it’s been used to describe some type of project or outreach effort.  On Sunday we found that just having fun is Better Together.  We had around 60 folks gather for our family picnic at Bryan Park.  Those 60 folks ranged in age from just under 2 to 60+ and everyone had a good time.  The weather was beautiful, the food was wonderful and the company was even better.  Thank you to everyone who shared in the festivities.  A special THANK YOU to Paul Mattox, our “grillmaster”.  We look forward to seeing all of you at our next family event.  Remember, families come in all shapes and sizes and everyone is always welcome because we are truly Better Together.
