Cindy and I were married November 21, 1977 in Pearisburg, VA. Next to Jesus Christ (who is in a league of His own) she is definitely the greatest thing that ever happened to me. We have two incredible sons, Mike and Daniel, both grown and doing very well, along with one GRANDson, Tyler Michael Poole. He calls me Poppa and we spend most Thursdays just hanging out. I can safely say that he is my favorite "pre-occupation" these days. If you met him you would know why! Since 1988, I have served Fairmount Memorial and Webber Memorial Churches, both in Richmond, as well as a short time serving Ivy Memorial in Hampton, VA before coming to Hatcher Memorial January 17, 2000. Each church has brought special people into our lives, whom we could never forget. Hobbies? Before Tyler came along, days off were spent fishing on the Rappahanock... down by the White Stone Bridge. I also did a little golf and a lot of reading. (Barnes and Noble is my favorite place!) Now, it's just my personal hero,Tyler, and reading. Oh, I mow the yard and fix things around the house when I have to.
