Situated snuggly between Joseph Bryan Park to the South and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens to the north is a mile and a half of pavement the Virginia Department of Transportation calls Route 161. We around here however know it as LAKESIDE AVENUE... and for many of us this is home!

Information on schools in within a five-seven minute drive time include Dumbarton, Holladay, Johnson, Lakeside, and Trevvett Elementary Schools. Moody and Brookland Middle Schools. Henrico and Hermitage High Schools.

Richmond city becomes Henrico County as you enter Lakeside on Hermitage Road... literally, within walking distance of Hatcher. City schools serve residents in Bellevue, Ginter Park, and Scotts Edition. Those schools include Ginter Park Elementary, Henderson Middle, and John Marshall High
