Part Time Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Position

 

Hatcher Memorial Baptist is seeking a part time [25 hrs./weekly] Facilities and Grounds Maintenance person.  This person will serve as a representative of the church in the appearance of our physical plant and in dealing with the public, contractors, and vendors.  Part of the responsibilities include that our HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems are operational and properly maintained.  This person will work with our lawn maintenance contractor and assist with snow removal on sidewalks.  Additionally this person will act as a liaison between the church/CDC and the contracted cleaning company to ensure the church is cleaned and maintained per contract.  This person will see that the church is opened in the mornings for our Child Development Center.  Other handy man skills are needed to include spot painting, light bulb replacement, and wall repair.  General qualifications: able to lift 50 lbs.; climb a ladder; general knowledge of HVAC systems, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical; an “eye” for detail; and work independently.  For more details, contact: Wayne Duke, Personnel Committee Chairman or the church office at office@Hatcherchurch.org.
