Part Time Bookkeeper

Hatcher Memorial Baptist is seeking a Permanent Part time, approximately 25 hours per week bookkeeper for our church and working with the Child Development Center. We are seeking a person who has

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Premier
  • Confidential maintenance of individual donors’ accounts.
  • Bank reconciliation experience
  • Ability to develop and monitor information processes between vendors and QuickBooks to ensure checks and balances
  • Experience preparing and posting general ledger journals and preparing monthly accounting statements using QuickBooks.
  • Payroll experience and working with payroll vendor.
